How To Become a Christian

We love animals and they are a huge part of our lives but it is of the utmost importance to us to share with you the most important aspect of our life and that is our Christian faith. Without Jesus, we are nothing. It is our sincerest hope that you will come to know Him as your Lord and Savior if you haven't already. We have included the ABC’s of becoming a Christian below but if you ever would like any additional information or would like help finding a church family please do not hesitate to ask us!

A- Admit

Admit you are a sinner and in need of God’s grace. We are all human and thus all fallible. Fortunately, we serve an infallible Lord! Romans 10:9 states, “If you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” Being good does not get you to Heaven, it is a gift from God. Through God’s grace, we are forgiven of our sins by the blood of Jesus and we will spend eternity in Heaven.

B- Believe

Believe in Jesus Christ as God’s Son and receive Jesus’ gift of forgiveness from sin. God loves each of us! God offers each of us salvation although we have done nothing to deserve it. His love and salvation are not contingent on “how good” we are but are ours if only we will ask and believe. In the death of Jesus on the cross, God provided salvation for all who would repent of their sins and believe in Jesus. “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”~John 3:16

C- Confess

Confess your faith in Jesus Chris as Savior and Lord to others. After you have received Jesus Christ into your life, share your decision with another person. Tell your pastor or a Christian friend about your decision. Following Christ’s example, as for baptism by immersion in your local church as a public expression of your faith. “If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, an it is with your mouth that you confess you are saved.”~Romans 10:9-10

Salvation is a free gift that is yours if only you will ask. You Can Commit Your Life To Christ By Praying A Simple Prayer Similar To This:

Lord,

I Don’t Deserve Forgiveness.. I Know I Have Done Things Against Your Will.. Please, Lord Take Control Of My Life. Forgive Me For The Things I Have Done, And For Ignoring You. I Believe That You Sent Your Son, who lived a blameless life, To Die For My Sins, So That I May Live … For You. Thank You For That. I Give My Life To You Lord. Make Me A New Person.

Amen

If you prayed this prayer we would love to hear from you! As always, we are here for anything we can help you with and will be happy to get or put you in touch with additional resources to strengthen your walk with Christ!
